I’m Lottie; a painter and creative writer. I use big canvases, bright colours and bold words, to playfully challenge viewers and inspire positive cultural change. 

I have a passion for representing women's humanness, for supporting men in their embrace of mindful masculinity, and for exploring the seemingly-opposing truths in all humans; one can be agile, fragile, lonely and in love, in the right job, in the wrong town, all at once and among many other things.

I have a hunch that if we learn the art of feeling uncomfortable and uncertain (about ourselves and the world) without rejecting or projecting our experience, we can become less destructive and build healthier relationships with ourselves, each other, and the earth. I’m learning as I go…

My work is here to start conversations and bridge gaps with a knowing smile, sometimes a giggle, and maybe even a fart - because women do that, you know.
